Gigi

Remember a year ago when I started crying at JoAnn Fabrics because they have so many company policies?

It was that same day that my Gigi had that severe stroke? The very same Gigi who, no lie, was struck by lightening three times during her childhood.

Remember how I started seeing my tub as half empty for a while after that?

Well, after several miserable months of not being able to do puzzles or watch Jeopardy, she kinda recovered and then she fell and broke her ankle so she went into rehab for several more miserable months, where she couldn't even eat Burger King, and then she had surgery to install a pace maker . . .

And then . . .

And then . . .

And then . . .

She magically recovered. All the back to normal. Plus.

She's even better than before, peeps. Sharper. Wittier. Cleverer. And she does puzzles again. And goes out for Whoppers on Wednesdays.

And she just turned 90 years old!

Doesn't look a day over 80, does she!

Must be all that electricity running through her veins.

Happy Birthday Gigi!

P.S. I'm trying to talk my hub into giving me permission to exploit him with that viral video. Fingers crossed!

Gosh I love my grandma. And, she just lives too darn far away! We enjoyed lots of scrabble and card games together when I was younger.

She is beautiful!
I'm so glad she's doing better.
Maybe I'll start a resolution to eat more whoppers so I can look that great when I'm 80!

You are looking pretty cute yerself.

I hope I inherited my gradmother's indestructible genes. She made it to 97 with all her faculties in place. Yay for Gigi!

And I see you got your sidebar back! Lookin' good over here!

AAAAAAHHHHH! Martha! That was awesome! I wonder who filmed it. Sterling is soooo grown up. And Lorrie Ann too. Aaaaah! I knew a lot of people from last years video too, but this was such a flashback. I saw one of the Richardson boys in there at the end. Thanks for telling me about it.

P.S. Martha, tonight I was cleaning and I found an old video so I popped it in and it was all the birthday parties in 2000. The twins were 2. SNIFF. There was a lot of footage of all the kids in the hood outside our houses playing, skateboarding, saggy diapers and all. It was sooooooo cute!

Soooo cute it made my stomach hurt.

WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
