Name Those Shoes

OMGOSH! Last night I went shmoozin' it with some famous peeps, (which is almost as fun as slummin' it with some not famous peeps.)

Donald J. Carey, author of Bumpy Landings, and DeNae of The Backordered Life

Annie Valentine, from the Standard Examiner and Melanie J, author of The List

Karen from Kazzy's Ponderings and Becca Wilhite, author of My Ridiculous Romantic Obsessions and Bright Blue Miracle.

Even Rico Suave was there. Oooh la la

Oh, and I was there too!

Okay, now that you've been formerly introduced, it's time to play my favorite game, Name Those Shoes:

Cash prizes may or may not be awarded, with special emphasis on the may not.

P.S. There was an editor there too, and, for those of you who read my last post, I showed him my kids trophies and medals and I think he might be interested in publishing them.

Annie has to be the leopard skin.
I would say DeNae has the flipflop thingys, cuz anyone from Utah knows that there is still snow.

No idea on the others, just hoping none of them belong to Don.

Sounds like a wonderful time.
Slightly having envy.

I would recognize those leaopard print hooker heels anywhere. Annie!

And here I thought I was so clever saying the leopard print ones were Annie's!! And I'm gonna say the wedge sandals are Melanie's cuz she wrote about new wedge heels a couple weeks ago. The other heels must be Don's.

Don't know who is who....but they must not know about your issues with the Utard chicks who always wear high heels. I am soul sistahs with the flip flop one, that is my kinda girl :) Hope you had fun and got some trophies published- and maybe even got a big juicy hamburger somewhere along the way.
p.s. I'm going to Hawaii for a whole month to meet my grand daughter....woot woot for me!

Fun night! I had shoe envy. I had writer envy. I am a slouch. You, on the other hand, are always gracious and purty.

Sounds like so much fun, except that part where your feet had to be an a picture. My feet would have been wearing BYU flip flops. Just so ya know.

You know I'm not into shoes, so I'm not even going to attempt. Where are Don's shoes? I could've guessed them.

Did you finally get to order a hamburger while you were schmoozing?

Jim is up hiking with Truman and Javan today. They went yesterday too.Even Jordan was over today, but his parents wouldn't let him go to the mountains because it's too dangerous.

Nan can't figure out if she wants to hang out with all those boys anymore. She's been hanging out with girls! I knew it would happen someday.

Adam gets to call me tomorrow, can't wait.

(*snicker*) Annie has then all fooled.

I can say without any hesitation and with every fiber of my being that those peep-toe animal print heels with painted toenails are Annie's and only Annie's.

Keep her away from your children - she is SUCH a bad influence.

I can definitively say those are NOT Annie's shoes. No money for any of you. Haha!

you must be kind of a rock star, because I saw your picture in another blog! You are the famous one.....

Hee hee hee You're all wrong. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

Especially you, Donna! I'm not a rock star. ;)

Martha, how was your call from Adam? How is he? How is he? How is he? I knew Nan would eventually ditch the boys. But before long she'll come back around so enjoy it now. How was May Day?

And for the record, YES, I went out and bought myself a burger!
