A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often - just to save it from drying out completely. --Pam Brown
MAHALO to my twin's lifelong ex-door neighbor besties, Jimmy and Nana (who also happen to be twins) for keeping the friendship alive with this birthday package to my twins. They were SOOOO excited!

Everyone was fighting over everything!
And Nana, this picture poem made us--as my daughter would say--smile and be happy!

How cute is that?
Hip hip hooray for friendship that never dies!

I love it! So much fun. Way to go Martha and Jim and Nan.
I think they may have grown a foot or two!
those pictures are so cute! And I got to go see that very street where they were taken.....hallowed ground I think :)
Your kids are luckier than they can even imagine. Having parented a friendless child who now actually has the beginnings of some friendships, I can tell you these relationships have lifelong influence on everything from people's confidence and social skills to professional and personal success.
And I loved those pictures.
Oh, and we need to get together very soon, cuz I live here now!!
Glad they liked the package. I love how you always take pictures of everything.
Hey, I'm coming to see you on Oct 5th or so. I have a conference in Denver and I'm stopping by Utah on my way home for a couple of days to see my Joshie.
