OMGOSH! MY face hurts!

It seriously hurts. SO. DANG. BAD.

It hasn't hurt like this since I got married and plastered that this-is-the-happiest-day-of-my-life smile across it to fake out all my friends and family.

It hurts because of a video.

I've been laying here in my California King, surrounded by whole famdamily, watching this video over and over and over.

Originally I was laying here by myself in a blissful state of slumber, until about 11 p.m. when my son burst into my room and flipped on the lights.

"Martha's on the phone!" he shouted.

Martha is my ex-door neighbor from my old hood in Hawaii. She lived ten feet away from me for nine years. Now she lives three hours behind me.

"Martha! Martha! Martha! Why on the deuce are you interrupting my beauty sleep?" I shouted. (I plagiarized that line from my mother-in-law.)

As it turns out, her twins made a video for my video contest and she wanted me to watch it. So watch it I did. (When Martha talks, people listen.)

Luckily I went to bed wearing terry cloth wrist bands--they come in handy when you need to wipe sweat from your eyeballs. but they can't quite wipe a smile from your face.

Hence the reason MY FACE HURTS SO DANG BAD!

Jimmy and Nana, who also lived ten feet from me for nine years, made a super RAD video, starring all of my favorite peeps in Hawaii. As if that wasn't cool enough, they also got John Mayer to sing my favorite message from the universe underneath the video.

Be still my stone cold heart.

LY Jimmy and Nana! If I win, I'm bringing all my kids to Hawaii to give you guys a shaka.

So the voting will run Mon-Fri next week. You can still enter a DEB-e for SAM-e video into my contest until Sunday night. The two videos with the highest number of votes will each win $100 cash from my generous sponsors (who I will introduce to you when the voting begins).

If you still need deets, click here.

I gotsta go put my face to bed.

Peace out!

P.S. I just woke up and now my heart hurts. That darn Martha did it again.

Sorry to wake you up, but we were so excited for you to see it. Yes, we are pretty proud of that video. I tried to get a few other of your buddies, but hey it's already pretty long. Just wait because Rachel and I are each making a video too.

Yay! and as I look at how my week has gone I'm realizing my planned video is never going to see the light of day...

just imagine a paper animation of you riding a wicked wave in Hawaii... saying all sorts of wickedly witty things (including "I'm Debbie and I approve this message") - see, my imagination loves you... but apparently my overplanned week doesn't feel the same :)

Deb, I don't even KNOW you and my eyeballs are sweating! Dang, that Martha...

It's probably because my own 'Martha' moved away last year across the continent. Weird, because now she is three hours behind me! Now I wonder if all moves involve three hours. Hmmm.

Seriously, could you just pack up and move back to Martha. Enough already. I am sure it would be easier to be the good mood blogger in Hawaii.
