People Get Ready

Remember this post where my daughter and I were stretched out on our backs across the trampoline with our eyes closed and our minds open?

And remember how she told me her seminary teacher said she'd probably need a ticket to see Jesus Christ again?

That kinda ticked me off a teensy weensy bit.

Why didn't he just sing this song to the class instead?

Hey, I'm confused (surprise surprise!) b/c I thought I could vote for you once every day. However, when I went back today, that was not the case. Maybe that was just before you got into the finals, huh? Congrats for that, btw!

I didn't write it yesterday but I thought it. Maybe he meant "ticket" as in a temple recomend. That is why I put what about all those who have never heard the gospel but live it? I think there is a place for them and a loving Heavenly Father and Jesus would understand that! Some times seminary teachers need a reality check. Maybe your superstar daughter could pull one of those like she does with her English teacher?!?

Miss Heidi, you are so sweet. Thanks for trying to vote for me more than once. I noticed that too, but no worries. I'm getting creamed anyway. :)

Springrose, I'm sure that's what he meant, but it's easy for teenagers to misunderstand. And apparently my daughter did try to give him a reality check like she does her English teacher. hee hee I don't think he is as appreciative of her spunk. ;)

Yes T, where is all this wit coming from? I love it.

Isn't it great how songs can say what we feel so much better than our words.

Hey if you are going to women's conference, come and read my insider tips for a good time.
