The Sky is Falling!

I'm not going to blog today because I'm ired with a "t."  Yesterday the sky opened up and sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. I couldn't tell if it was happy or sad, but it dropped more than just tears.  It dropped 150 boxes on my doorstep.

This is what my home looked like before the sky started crying:

Then suddenly I looked out the window and what did I see?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
This is BEFORE they started bringing it out of the truck.  One of my neighbors came running over saying "Where's all your stuff?  The truck is empty!"

Some of these boys lived in Laie.  Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

Here is our house now!

The sky started crying right after I took this picture.  I think it was just so grateful that I was finally reunited with my stuff.

Ooooh I cringe looking at those pics. I would have 10 babies at once before I'd move again. In all honesty, how are you finding Utah? Are you missing Hawaii ? Ben flew back today ;-( chin up chicca!

That house you are borrowing from your sister is pretty cute!

SOO glad you got your stuff.

YAY!! I'm so glad the sky opened up and finally dropped your stuff!

That house is so darn cute, you really should keep it. It would be a really nice moving gift from your sister. I could suggest it to her, if I knew who she was!

look at all that fun paper!!
Now the kids can't roller blade in the house-- dang!

Like Christmas in September!
Word of Warning-- when we moved here.. I found a few boxes of JUNK-- stuff I had set aside to goto the dump... the packers packed up. Brian was not impressed .. that there was no room in the "container" for his BBQ but ample space for those trash boxes. (ops!)
Can't wait to hear whatcha find!

Hee hee Swirl, you crack me up. Because I left a week before Alan I am finding a few unexpected items--like an outback steakhouse bag. HUH?

I also found the gift he was s'posed to give to one of his friends who let him stay over a few nights. Shame on him for not delivering that gift.

Emily, I HEAR YOU, girl. Moving is the pits. It is so so so exhausting. I'm so happy to have all my stuff, but what am I going to do with it? Where shall I put it?

I agree with all of you about the cute house. I LUB this house so much. My sister ROCKS! She did it all herself (with her Bette Midler hub).

Can I leave a comment to a comment on the last post? Amen and amen to Swirl's comment about Nursery. I spent 2 1/2 years as Nursery leader and it was great. Anyone not in Nursery just doesn't get it, but you get your own personal fan club there. (Of course I don't live in a place that has 97 1/2 children in the Nursery so I could afford to love it). And it's legal to expect the occasional whine from 2 year olds. They whine and they get over it.

Anyway, I just had to cast an aye-aye for her comment.

P.S. Glad you got your stuff. Nothing like your own personal stuff to make you feel like you're home.

Whoo-hoo... like Christmas come early... or a visit to the Stuff Mart! (sorry, if you're not a veggie tales fan that's not funny... but you'll have to trust me that if you WERE a VT fan you'd be rolling in the aisles... at least if you were tipsy... in which case you'd probably not be a BIG VT fan because I think they're morally opposed to public drunken-ness... can veggies BE morally opposed to things? can I stop anytime soon?)

glad you'll have lots to choose from for your perfect outfit for PF (hubs decided not to go... bummer!)

I was going to try to sneak something fun into that container, but I never got the chance, because those guys packed up so fast. Have fun unpacking.

Martha, there were some sunflower seeds that I thought maybe you snuck in there. ;)

T, my hub decided not to go too. He has a real job now, darnit! We might be coming to St. George in 2 weeks. (If we can get out of our sacrament meeting talk.)

Amen about Swirl and nursery. She really hit the mark.

Yay for stuff! I think....maybe I should send you some of mine, my house seems to be bursting at the seams (and I've only been here 2 years) watch out for that, stuff just keeps coming and coming and coming, and then you kinda start wishing for the empty house again.

Ew.. I'd so rather pack up than unpack. Its so hard to decide where everything goes!

I'm decisionally challenged.

GOOD LUCK! Good thing you have a couple helpers :-)

I was so excited to see your comments (btw I took those super cute pictures of Ethan in the yellow shirt!) Hope the unpacking is going well, we are still trying to organize everything we unpacked...I have already told Ryan we are never moving again!

My rental is covered in boxes. Most of them empty, but I may be closing on our house tomorrow. But we won't know until we get the email telling us the time. Your post reminds me of all the work I have ahead.

I am glad that your boxes made it.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. You just want to kiss every inch of your couch, table, rugs...

Happy unpacking!

OMGOSH, Smart Helm you are so smart. Seriously! No wonder you're a smartie. It's so hard to find a place for everything. It's just so hard to find a place, period.

Swirl, hee hee I LUB that you have my extra stuff too. Now every time you look in your mirror mirror on the wall, you'll see ME.

Fisher Familia. OMGOSH, have you seriously been lurking in the shadows? Girlfriend, I had NO idea. How fun to know that. Tell Ryan I'll poke his eyes out if he doesn't stop rolling them around when you need a Crash fix. LUBBED the pics. You and Ry should go pro.

Amber, I didn't realize you were moving. I HAVE LOTS of boxes if anyone needs them. GOOD luck Amber! GOOOOD LUCK! I hope you get your dream house.

Andrea. HUGS! YOU do know what I'm talking about, don't you! I lub it when people understand. LY!

Okay I love that house! I wish I had a house...

I wish I was moving and thanking the gads that my stuff finally came so our house could become a home!

I wish I could plan things with you and hang out!

I'd even go to Sunday School and we could shake our heads at their mean mightier than thou attitudes! I would even had paid for the pedicures from last post!

Let me know when you are coming down to St. George :)
