GROUP HUG PEEPS!

So thankful for all my friends.  Best friends ever!!!

My eyes are seriously sweating just thinking about all the votes of support on my blog nominations and all of your excitement over the magic quilt.

To borrow a phrase from John Adams, "I've been borrowing from my sleep" lately in order to do some extra round off back handsprings before bed.   That's how excited I am about the magic quilt.

If you are scratching your head right now and thinking "what magic quilt?" click on the photo of the magic quilt on my right hand side bar.

Or just click here, if you're lazy.

A MQ button is in the works and should be done within a week so we can start promoting.

That's not the only thing I've been borrowing sleep to do doing round off back for lately.

I'm so excited about my new Crash-n-Friends Blog Across America site!!!

Aaaaahhhh!  I can hardly wait for the grand opening to show it to you.  I'm just waiting on the design and template crew to finish up so I can unveil it and WE can get started.

IF you must know . . . it's going to be our very own travel blog full of action, adventure and romance, not to mention three of my favorite things: food, nudity and profanity.  (No kids allowed in the van!  And Lo, you'll have to jog along side since you're rated G.)

No good deed or bad deed will go unpunished over at Crash-n-Friends.

Details TBA, but wouldn't it be awesome if a group of crazy bored mommies like us could win the best travel blog of 2009?   CBM Girl Power!  Just think of how many magic quilts we can pass along with all that exposure.

Even though I've had to borrow from my sleep lately, my dreams have been kind to me.  In fact I had the weirdest dream of my life a few nights ago and I need help interpreting.

Setting: Russia

Scenery:  vivid, high res, super saturated mountains and city landscape.

Mode of Transportation: Airplane

Antagonist:  A ginormous shark in a small pond of water.

Conflict: Shark attack.    I was actually minding my own business when the shark leapt through the air and attached himself to my arm.

Wounds sustained:  A mere flesh wound.  I totally took the shark down.

Resolution:  I got to eat cookies.  I ate cookie after cookie after cookie.  I couldn't stop eating the cookies.

But I'm perplexed because here's the WEIRD part:  I COULD TASTE THE COOKIE.  And I've never tasted the cookie before.  It was like a fruity Oreo.  What the what?  How can I taste a fruity Oreo in my sleep when I've never tasted a fruity Orea on my wake.  Helk, I don't think anyone has ever tasted a fruity oreo.

So what is the universe trying to tell me, peeps?

that you are fruity ;)

I have to agree with Emily's interpretation :)

I snagged your magic quilt code and added it to my 2 blogs :)

Maybe the universe is telling you that you have come up with a Great new idea (the quilt one), something that should have been thought of before, but wasn't. I mean, why haven't we had fruity oreos before?

nevadanista said...

Oh man, you're hard to keep up with! I have a lot of catching up to do...

Love the quilt idea :) I think the universe is saying that you're brilliant and wonderful! I'll head over and see what's new over there as soon as I'm back from Superbowl party shopping.

Hug!!

Mmmmm fruity Oreos (said in Homer Simpson voice.)

April said...

That you threw up in your mouth in your sleep. You apparently had fruit for dinner.

I can't wait to blog across america!!! Holy yellow submarine van..that will be a blast!! Pedi or no pedi!

I'm still searching for that right piece of fabric....

Funny Farmer said...

I think they were fortune cookies, and since you couldn't stop eating the fortune cookies, obviously you are sexually repressed. The shark was your husband who had to bite you on the arm to get your attention. Or maybe he just wanted the fortune cookie you were holding.

"peptan" - that tan that makes you feel so much better than everyone else.

Hmmmmm, I'm thinking all this excitement you're radiating is probably what the cookie taste is. You know, you are so excited about the new idea you have and the new site you're creating, all that blogging possibilities, the light at the end of the tunnel, the finish line, the adventures, you name it, you have such an active imagination. I am thinking that when you're happy or wanting to reward yourself for something wonderful you've done, you reach for some favorite snack or something. So all these exciting thoughts going through your head, it's like right there in the palm of your hand and since it's soo within reach, heck the reward is right there alongside it. I don't know, I'm rambling. I honestly can't keep up with you.

I am however as excited as a kid in a candy store, can't wait to see the quilt in the making.

I think the universe is saying that we need fruity oreos... ermmm... maybe.

I just wanted everyone to know that you're officially bad influences on me... you know what I said today OUT LOUD? "what the Helk?" yep, got a few odd looks, then I busted up laughing!

Hmm, that's a tough one. You want to travel and bring me cookies? You want to visit Russia and bring them Oreo's? You really want to eat fruit but you ate cookies instead?

I don't know. But I am super excited about several things - The Quilt. Awesome idea, I am so in.
The Travel blog. Again I am in and I'll pack the green jacket you like.
And of course your peeps send you nominations. Cause your just so cool!

Happy Sunday!

I've had a fruity oreo before. I make homemade Oreo's and I sometimes put raspberry flavoring in the middle goodness. Maybe you are saying that you need Kritta to come visit you. We could talk Magic Quilt.

Kritta22 said...

Where is everyone today?

Kritta22 said...

I'm sooooo or sewwwwww excited cuz I get a sewing machine for tax return! It's like a second Christmas!!!!

That means I get to quilt our quilt too! YEAH!!!!!!

I know you are excited.

Kritta22 said...

I see that people are having a time deciding what to send...we can have more than one story and fabric right?

Especially if we have a few quilts.

Amanda said...

I posted a recipe just for you, Crash :)

I'm on my way to church so I don't have much time...but...

The universe is trying to tell you, that two of my FAVORITE things are fruit and oreos...since I am going on a cleanse, I can't eat them right now...

WOW...we really ARE connected...

so you are suppose to eat them for me for the Month of February!!!

Thanks Crash...and anybody else who would like to eat for me!

Dreams are all about hopes and fears. You are looking forward to a new sweet adventure but afraid that it might someone bite you in the, um, arm. Weird. Last night I dreamed that I am going to have another baby. I'm 44 for Pete's sake! The baby looked Hawaiian. So, what does that mean?

Amanda said...

Shelle, I'll eat for you!!! I need an excuse for all I've been eating lately. Most women lose weight while nursing but I gain it because I'm so hungry all the time.

Thanks Shelle, I owe you for this one :)

WV is "rhette"
Frankly, my dear, I don't give a darn how much I am eating right now
LOL too perfect

Shelle-BlokThoughts said...

Amanda!!! Thanks so much for taking on that...I know it is hard, but I appreciate your sacrafice!!! :)

And Crash for the post yesterday...I am willing to Fist Fight because I DO have upper body strength...so Alyson can use her legs and I'll get the fists in there!!!

So We've got it under control!

I so wish you could come sleep over with us, but we WILL go see famous people because Alyson's pretty enough to get in to ANYTHING...plus she has my coveted HOTTEST MOMMY BLOGGER and I'm getting her a whole sign and stuff for her to carry around with us while we visit famous sites and people and stuff!

Alyson...will you ask Ann Leary if SHE will nominate me for HOTTEST MOMMY BLOGGER??? I WON'T wear a bikini, but I don't mind naked feet or whatever and plus I'm pretty good at the Question and Answer segment of the competition as well as the talent portion...UNDERWATER MODELING...I'm thinking about making it a career! :)

Thanks

By for now!

Shelle-BlokThoughts said...

WOW...verifier says MASTA and I'm thinking that is appropriate for me today...

couldn't pass it up!

And AMANDA I LOVE GONE WITH THE WIND!!! :)

This dream obviously means that the Cardinals are up against a whole field full of sharks otherwise known as steelers, and though they might get a little nip in the arm- they will enjoy the great fruity flavor of victory! woohoo!
OK I am watching the pre-show and the asian guy from Journey sounds horrible! My snacks are ready, my back-flips and splits are practiced and I am ready for the game! GO CARDS.

Sandi said...

on another note altogether, I tried Wolfgang's favorite fro-yo and I have to say (after eating all 800 calories of it in one sitting) that it is not my favorite. Good, but not the best. Maybe I will follow Shelle's example and start a cleanse, but probly not, so I'll let ya know if I DO find the best ice cream.

Funny Farmer said you are sexually repressed. Ohmygoodness! Ohmygoodness!!! Are we going there?!?!

HAHA!

The Crash Test Dummy said...

You guys are hilarious and I will respond to each of your interpretations but I first want to say something to Sandi:

NANI NANI BOO BOO!

Steelers just made a touchdown.

I'll deal with Funny Farmer LATER!

sticks out tongue.

The Crash Test Dummy said...

Oh, I just ate my words.

: Slinks away embarrased. Sorry Sandi. My humble apologies

dear crash,
thanks for the comments. you have so much going on, that i have tried to keep up with your blog, but being a first time mom of a nearly 5 month old, i haven't done well. but i will do my darndest.
with all my heart,
ani c

The Crash Test Dummy said...

WOW! AniC is here and now I feel guilty for having so much going on. AniC, don't worry. My mom says the same thing. She can't stand me actually. I wear her out. My BBFF says the same thing.

See if it helps to read me in slow motion. It works for my husband who also can't keep up with me.

btw, AciC is Lo's sister. I know the Fro threw you guys off.

Good luck with your 5 month old. That's more important than exciting adventure anyway.

I am LoW said...

Whoa!!! What is my wittle baby sister doing here?!?!?

I, uh.... I'm speechless. I feel like I was having a big slumber party with friends and we've been partayin' and telling secrets and the little sister comes crawling out from under the bed with a big grin from hearing everything. :)

(but in a good way, really....)

(AniC- Crash calls me hot here, please don't tell her the otherwise, k?)

;-)

I am LoW said...

Psst....I have a fro too, I just use a flat iron while AniC embraces hers.

When I grow up, I want to be like AniC and embrace my fro.

Could you guys hear my kids screaming?

Time to invent a new Oreo!!! Did it taste good in your dream???
P.S. Word verification is 'frank'... that's my COW'S name!!! Did your skin just get all goose-bumpy like mine did?

Barbaloot said...

I think the universe is telling you to invent a fruity oreo as the official snack of the Blog-Across-America. And I sure hope there's room for a single girl on that crazy trip...

Sandi said...

AUUGHHH! I am worn out from screaming for the Cards. Larry Fitzgerald so deserved a W! I am sick from eating wayyy too much. I might still LY but not if you post pics of your children mocking the losing team! That 100 yard run was amazing, but not near as pretty as Fitzgerald's last touchdown...oh I'm so sad! I managed to crack a smile when the Office came on and Michael said "thats what HE said" hahahaha.

wv- canucke...I think it mistook me for April..haha

The Crash Test Dummy said...

Hi guys. LOve all the interpretations.

Except Emily's. Maybe because she's probably right.

Though Funny Farmer might be more right. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Although I'm thinking it takes one to know, love and interpret one. hee hee

Sandi, I don't even feel like gloating. Bummer. I kinda feel bad for the Cards. They played so gooooood. But what an awesome play at the end for the Steelers. I caught my kids faces watching that play. I will post those when I get a chance. Maybe if I stay up late or maybe after my class in the morning. They are classic.

Can't wait to watch the office.

Oh guys, Thank you so much for voting for me. Youngblood just got me to page 3. Wahoo. Page 3 is awesome. Maybe we can get some exposure for our magic quilt.

LY everyone!

GO Steelers/Go Cards!

The Crash Test Dummy said...

Wixon, that's crazy that my verifier knows your cow. How cool is that.

And LO, I totally saw you wearing that ginormous Santa on your sweat shirt on your sister's blog. Awesome.

Still a hottie. And your feet couldn't be that bad!

Sandi said...

Does it only let you vote one time?

Sandi said...

Yep- only allowed one vote :(

Kritta22 said...

So how was the office guys?

I DVR'd it. I'll watch it tomorrow.

NEW MISSION for BBA: Find Baraloot a nice RM to love her!! Ya in?

The Crash Test Dummy said...

The Office hasn't come on yet here in Hawaii. I'm hoping it comes on at 9pm.

Barb, YES you are totally going to be our romance girl. You will add the romance since none of us get much action anymore.

hee hee

Don't say ANYTHING Funny Farmer.

April said...

Sandi...you DID get my verifier word! But I have started to study to take the test to become an American. Ok, I wiped the dust off the book.

I am worn out from getting all dressed up and going to church for one hour...I'm in trouble! I have to work this week!!!

Wish me luck!

The Crash Test Dummy said...

Good luck, April! LY!!

Nutty Hamster Chick said...

Yes April, good luck with work. Congrats to Crash and the Steelers. Miss you guys, thanks for the laughs.

I'm curious about your blog across america dealio!?

Alyson | New England Living said...

Oh my gosh, I'm totally brain dead after staying up all night with a sick kid. So, nothing funny or interpretive to say here. However, I think Shelle and I make up one perfect body since she has the upper-body strength and I've got strong legs. Also, weird, apparently we have the same birthday!! Think we were Siamese twins?

Mariko said...

Right on, Emily.
I tried to vote for you like 5 days ago, but it was saying I had to confirm my e-mail, and then it finally did on Saturday, and then it told me the voting was over. IT'S A CONSPIRACY!
